ROYAL CROWN (Danish Ali Khan) was very fractious and reared up in the starting gate whereby the jockey was injured who was examined  immediately and certified unfit to ride, hence the horse  was withdrawn before coming  under starter’s orders. In consequence of  ROYAL CROWN being withdrawn before coming under starter’s orders a  deduction of 10% on win and 30% on place was effected.

Trainer Mr.I.S.Parmar and App.Jockey Bipin Kumar were questioned regarding the running and riding of ROAMING FAME. The Trainer stated that he had instructed the jockey to position 2^nd/3^rd and do his best on entering the straight. Jockey corroborating the Trainer’s statement  stated that  he had done his best. Not being  satisfied with their explanations they were directed to appear before the Stewards.

The Stewards held an enquiry after the last race and interviewed Trainer Mr.I.S.Parmar and App.Jockey Bipin Kumar and shown the replay of the race.

After hearing their statements, considering recommendation of the   Stipendiary  Steward  and relying upon their own observations based on the replay of the CCTV the Stewards  decided to:-                   

1. Fine  a sum of Rs.5000/- for tendering unsatisfactory explanations during the course of the enquiry.
2. Suspend the Jockey’s Licence granted to App.Jockey Bipin Kumar from riding in races from 4^th February,2012 to 21^st February,2012  (both days inclusive) for unsatisfactory riding on his mount  ROAMING FAME  in the above race  thereby contravening  Rule No 161 (ii) of the RWITC Rules of Racing. He was permitted to ride work/not mock race during the period of his suspension and advised of his Right of Appeal.

ROAMING FAME was impounded for veterinary examination and the Club’s veterinary officer reported no apparent abnormality.

An enquiry has been opened into the running and riding of ASHWA PANAMA  Trained by Mr.R.S.Shekhawat and ridden by Jockey Arun Kumar.
