Racing Incidents
As Jockey Riazuddin was certified medically unfit to ride, hence permission was granted to Trainer Mr.Bharat T Singh to substitute Jockey K.Sunny Kumar to ride SHE IS BEAUTIFUL in place of Jockey Riazuddin  the declared rider.
The Club’s Veterinary Officer reported that ORIENTAL SPEED returned lame on right fore after the race . Trainer Mr.Zulfiqar Khan was informed not to accept with his charge until passed fit by the Club’s Veterinary Officer.
App.Jockey Danish Ali Khan the rider of GRACEFUL BAY was reprimanded   for allowing his mount to shift out negotiating the bend thereby taking out SULTAN AYUBI (Imran Chisty) App.Jockey M.Chetri the rider of ORIENTAL SPEED was fined Rs.2000/-  for failing to keep a straight course soon after the start.
 
Jockey D S Rathore the rider of VARUN was severely reprimanded for failing to ride out his mount from the 200 mts..
Jockey Imran Chisty the rider of SULTAN AYUBI reported that his mount was very fractious and reared up in the gates.
 
Trainer Mr.H.A.Khan was questioned regarding the inconsistent pattern of running of his charge thereby resulting in the improved performance of his charge ASHWA PRINDA (Rajinder Saini)  as compared to its last run in race No. 233  The Thaumaturk Plate.Div.II. For Indian Horses Rated 1-26 (Abt) 1000 Mts. ran on 26th March,2012 where it was unplaced. The trainer stated that:-
 
1. That he had given  similar instructions on both days to take a good jump and do the best to win the race.
 
2. In Race No.233  his charge was ridden by an apprentice and the race was very fast and the apprentice  could not catch up with the field 
 
3. Today it  was ridden by a  jockey having  whip 
 
4. Today the distance to travel 200 mts extra.
While noting his explanations, the Stewards were of the opinion that  there was insufficient evidence to warrant a charge and as such no action was taken. An enquiry is being opened into the running and riding of SULTAN AYUBI Trained by  Mr.S.Nawab and Jockey Imran Chisty.
