An objection lodged by App.Jockey Sandeep Rajput  the rider of  NARMADA placed second  by the Judge against Jockey Gurpreet Singh the rider DAZZLING WISE  placed first by the Judge for “ bumping ,boring and blocking my  passage nearing 200 mts. After which I had to check my mount which broke its stride and that cost me a certain race”. The Stewards held an enquiry immediately after the race interviewed the Jockeys concerned and after deliberations, considering the opinion expressed by the Stipendiary Steward and based on the observation of the race the Stewards were not satisfied that an alteration to the placings could not be justified. Therefore, they decided to overrule the objection. The Security deposit was refunded. 

 

The bridle used on ROSE (Dhanu Singh Deora) was observed to have displaced during the race thereby impeding the running of  ROSE, the equipment was checked immediately after the race. Trainer Mr.Bharat T Singh was fined Rs.2000/- being the 1st offence during the racing season.

 

Trainer Mr.Mohsin Khan was questioned regarding the improved performance of his charge DAZZLING WISE as compared to its last run in Race. R.NO. 213 THE REAL ROMAN PLATE.DIV.II.FOR INDIAN HORSES RATED 40-66 (ABT) 1000 MTS ON 13TH March,2012 where it was unplaced. The trainer stated that:-

 

1) In its last outing, soon after the jump out, his mount was interfered, whereby the jockey had to check his mount.

2) Negotiating the bend, his mount drifted out, traveling on the outer portion of the race track till about 100 mts.

3) His charge did not relish the track condition, whereby the track was in soft side.

His explanation was noted.
