It was observed at the starting gate that the tongue tie used on ASHWA JUNGNOO (Narain Singh) was  improperly tied. The tongue tie was removed and tied properly.

Jockey Jai Parkash the rider of FOUR BY FOUR was fined Rs.3000/- for the excessive use of the whip on his mount during the race.(2^nd offence during the meeting.)

The Stipendiary Steward reported Jockey C.S.Jodha the rider of MASTER MESSI to the Stewards for the violation of calendar notification under the heading “USE OF WHIPS” in the above race (3^rd offence during the meeting). The Stewards held an enquiry after the last race and examined Jockey C.S.Jodha.  After hearing his statements, considering recommendation of the  Stipendiary  Steward  and relying upon their own observations based on the replay of the CCTV the Stewards after deliberations  decided to suspend the Jockey’s Licence granted to C.S.Jodha from riding in races  from 20^th April,2012 to 23^rd April,2012 (both days inclusive) for the violation of calendar notification under the heading “USE OF WHIPS” in the above race (3^rd offence during the meeting). He was advised of his Right of Appeal. He was permitted to ride work during the period of his suspension.

SARVAMANGALA was impounded for veterinary examination and the Club’s Veterinary Officer reported that no apparent abnormality.
