Permission was granted to Mr.Sartaj Singh to withdraw GOLDEN PRIDE (Sumit Bohat) on veterinary grounds as it was lame  left fore . He was informed not to accept with his charge until passed fit by the Club’s Veterinary Officer.

An objection lodged by Jockey Suresh Kumar  the rider of  BAY OF THUNDER placed second by the Judge against Jockey Sameer Khan  the rider of BEST OF LUCK  placed first by the Judge for “ coming onto me and bumping me from 300 mts to the winning post due to which I was unable to ride out properly on my mount got disbalanced and broke the strides and that cost me a certain race”. The Stewards held an enquiry immediately after the race interviewed the Jockeys concerned and after deliberations, considering the opinion expressed by the Stipendiary Steward and based on the observation of the race the Stewards were not satisfied that an alteration to the placings could not be justified. Therefore, they decided to overrule the objection. The Security deposit was refunded.

Jockey Suresh Kumar the rider of BAY OF THUNDER was fined Rs.1000/- for the excessive use of the whip on his mount during the race (1^st offence during the meeting)

Jockey Sameer Khan the rider of BEST OF LUCK was fined Rs. 1000/- for the excessive use of the whip on his mount during the race (1^st offence  during the meeting)
