HEAVENLY ANGEL (Sameer Khan)  was fractious at the starting gates throwing its hind legs against the gate thereby hurt itself , it was unloaded and examined by the Club’s Veterinary Officer certified unfit to race as it was lame on right hind as such it was withdrawn before coming under Starter’s orders. Trainer Mr.Manbir Singh was informed not to accept with his charge until passed fit by the Club’s Veterinary Officer. In consequence of HEAVENLY ANGEL being withdrawn a deduction of 10% on win and 30% place was effected.

Jockey R. Parvesh the rider of CAPTAIN CONFIDENT was questioned regarding repeatedly checking his mount during the race. He stated that his mount was throwing its head and he had difficulty in settling it down and ride out. The jockey was however informed that the ride was not entirely satisfied, however decided to take no further action, but to warn him. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination and the Club’s Veterinary  Officer reported no apparent abnormality .

GODS MAJESTY (Dhanu Singh Deora) planted in the starting gates and did not take practical part in the race.  In view of its behavior Trainer Mr. Richpal Singh was informed not to accept with his charge until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Steward in one mock race on a race day on race track.
