Racing Incidents

Negotiating the bend MADE OF GOLD (K.Narender Kumar) which was running under sufferance approaching 300 mts shifted out dislodging its rider and ran riderless thereafter. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination and the Club’s Veterinary Officer reported that the horse was lame on left fore. Trainer Mr.A.Khan was informed not to accept with his charge until passed fit by the Club’s Veterinary Officer.

 

Trainer Mr.Zulfiqar Khan and Jockey Sameer Khan were questioned regarding the running and riding of ODE TO NATURE.

 

Trainer stated that :-

 

He had instructed to lead and attempt to establish a break over his rivals in the early stages.

 

Only when challenged in the home straight, then to ride out, as it is one pace horse.

He was quite satisfied with the riding of Jockey Sameer Khan

 

Jockey corroborating the trainers statement stated that he did ride as per instructions and even when it win in a 1600 mts in Race No.119, it was ridden in the similar fashion. Their explanations were noted for future reference.
