Jockey  Narain Singh the rider of ASHWA HARBIR was questioned about his riding more so in the final straight where he did not ride out his mount to full advantage.  Jockey did not offer any plausible explanation except that he did his best. Not being satisfied with his  explanation he was fined R.2000/- for the improper riding. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination and the Club’s Veterinary Officer reported no apparent abnormality.

Trainer R S Shekhawat was severely reprimanded for the running of his charge ASHWA HARBIR and for not giving proper explanation during the course of enquiry.

The Club’s Veterinary Officer reported that the winner b c SARVANMANGALA  Trained by Mr.Ajay Sharma  did not pass urine for more than 5 hours post race which is the maximum stipulated time for collection of post race urine sample as per RWITC racing calendar notification. Subsequently the sampling was abandoned. The trainer was warned to better train his horse for urine sampling.
