Racing Incidents

KITWAKING (Aqeed Waheed) was fractious in the paddock as such reared up and fell down. The Club’s Veterinary Officer examined the horse and declared lame on right fore, as such withdrawn before coming under starters order. Trainer Mr.Ajay Sharma was informed not to accept with his charge until passed fit by the Club’s Veterinary Officer.
In consequence of KITWAKING being withdrawn before coming under Starter’s order a deduction of 20% on win and 50% on place bets was effected.

Jockey D S Rathore the rider of ASHWA PARWEZ was questioned in the presence of Trainer Chanderpal Singh who stated that  he was instructed to sit 5th/6th  because it was a big horse and it takes a little while to get into proper stride, but the riding style of the jockey was  questionable as he  was riding in check to that the jockey replied that due to mud hitting his goggles he could not see properly , was noted for the future running. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination and the Club’s Veterinary Officer reported no apparent abnormality.
