On a report from the Clerk of the Scales that Jockey D S Rathore the rider of FIRECRACKER placed third by the Judge  weighed in 2.5kgs less. At the behest  of the Stipendiary Steward an enquiry was ordered by the Stewards. The Stewards called in and questioned the Clerk of the Scales and Jockey D S Rathore and Trainer I S Parmar. After hearing their statements, considering the report of the Stipendiary Steward and based on their own observation the Stewards resolved to disqualify FIRECRACKER under Rule 180,RWITC Rules of Racing and revised the order of placings as under:-

SHAARANGA         -  FIRST

KOHINOOR EMPIRE   -  SECOND

DANCING BABE      -  THIRD

WHAT A SIGHT      -  FOURTH

The Stewards directed the Stipendiary Steward to further delve into the case and report his findings to the Stewards in the next race meeting.

Jockey S Raza the rider of DANCING BABE was fined Rs.1000/- for shifting  out soon after the jump out  and  Jockey L.Parshant the rider of KOHINOOR EMPIRE  was fined Rs.1000/- for shifting in thereby crowding and causing  interference to CAPTAIN CONFIDENT (Hashim Ali Khan)

Jockey Pawan Sharma the rider of SHAARANGA drawn (8) was fined Rs.3000/- for not being sufficiently clear of SEVEN EIGHT SIX (J.Chinoy) and EPISODE (Irfan Ali) soon after the start and further continue to shift in crowding and causing interference to  KOHINOOR EMPIRE (L.Parshant)  who in turn went onto CAPTAIN CONFIDENT (Hashim Ali Khan), DANCING BABE (S.Raza)  and ASHWA  HARBIR (J.Vijay Kumar ) before the red marker.

Jockey S.Raza the rider of DANCING BABE  was severely reprimanded for shifting out and causing interference to FIRECRACKER (D S RTHORE ) approaching 800 mts.
