Racing Incidents

 

Trainer Raj Kumar Saini was called in and questioned for the dismal performance of NIZBATI QUEEN who had finished second in the last outing in race No.279 and today it finished last, who stated that the instructions being given to Jockey S. Amjad Khan were to sit 2nd /3rd / 4th.  Jockey S. Amjad Khan was questioned who stated that his mount was not responding at any stage of the race as such finished last inspite of his best efforts, noted for future running.

The Club’s Veterinary Officer reported that b.f. NIZBATI QUEEN (S. Amjad Khan) was observed to have burst its blood vessel during the race.  As per the Racing Calendar notification the horse has been stopped from racing for a stipulated period of 4 weeks (1st time bleeder).  Trainer Raj Kumar Saini was informed not to accept with it again until passed fit by the Club’s Veterinary Officer.

The Veterinary Officer was requested by the Stipendiary Steward to sample the filly soon after the race.
