Racing Incidents

Jockey Pawan Sharma the rider of STORM AWAY was called in and questioned about his riding who stated that his instructions were to go to the front or sit second which he failed to do so as his mount lacked initial speed. Jockeys statement was confirmed by Trainer Magan Singh.  Further passing 400 meters when he changed the whip hand he lost his whip thereafter he made every effort to improve his position was noted. Jockey Pawan Sharma was warned for the loss of whip (1st offence)

Jockey Shafeeq Ahmed the rider of BHARAMASTRA had a fall due to getting unbalanced in the saddle after passing the winning post and was removed to the clinic. However, the jockey was advised to improve his riding capabilities.

STORM AWAY was impounded for veterinary examination after the race and the Club’s Veterinary Officer reported no apparent abnormality.
