Racing Incidents

An enquiry has been opened into the running of the above race and the same shall be reported to the Stewards at their next meeting.

Jockey Hashim Ali Khan the rider of MASTER VIRAT was questioned for suddenly veering in causing interference to MASTER CROWN (Ranjeet Singh) on the rails at 400 mts, to that he stated that his mount was hanging in severely inspite of his best efforts and in order to control his mount he lost his whip at 400 mts. Jockey Hashim Ali Khan was warned for the loss of whip (1st offence during the meeting ) and fined Rs.2000/- for the improper use of the whip in that he was observed to be hitting his mount with his hands.

The Club’s veterinary  officer reported that SKYROS  returned lame on left fore during the race, trainer  S.H.Abbas was advised  not to accept with his charge until passed fit by the Club’s veterinary officer.

MASTER VIRAT & FAST AND FURIOUS were impounded for veterinary examination and the Club’s Veterinary Officer reported no apparent abnormality.
