Racing Incidents

The Club’s veterinary Officer reported that MISS SMASHING  returned lame on left fore after the race. Trainer I.S.Parmar was informed not to accept with his charge until passed fit by the Club’s Veterinary Officer.

Jockey Mohd Asif the rider of SEVEN EIGHT SIX was called in and questioned  about his ride who stated that he was asked to go to the front or sit 2nd/3rd which he tried to do but his mount did not respond well. Trainer Sartaj Singh who was called in and confirmed the instructions stated that the filly was unpredictable and had nothing much to add. It was conveyed to him that any “in and out” running of his charge in future he would be held responsible.
