Racing Incidents

The Club’s Veterinary Officer reported that CHARMING WOODS was lame on right fore at the Starting gates as such was withdrawn before coming under Starter’s orders . In consequence of CHARMING WOODS being withdrawn before coming under Starter’s orders a deduction of  50%  on win and 50%  on place bets was effected.

Jockey Hashim Ali Khan the rider ASHWA SAKIRA was called in and questioned about his mount throwing its head up soon after the jump out who stated that his mount was leaning onto one side as the start was effected .  Trainer  H A Khan was informed to give his charge sufficient gate practice before accepting in  a race.
