BABY FAITH (Mohd Asif) was not permitted to race as Owner Mr.Rakesh Kumar was placed in the ‘Unpaid Forfeit list’ at Royal Calcutta Turf Club.

HONEY’S SPIRIT was withdrawn on Veterinary grounds as it was reported by the Veterinary Officer that the filly was found to be lame on left hind in the paddock while being paraded. Trainer Bharat T Singh was informed not to accept with his charge until passed fit by the Club’s Veterinary Officer. In consequence of HONEY’S SPIRIT being withdrawn no deduction on win or place was effected.

Jockey K Sunny Kumar the rider of THE DUKES was fined Rs.1000/- for the excessive use of the whip on his mount during the race (1^st offence during the meeting)

Jockey Hashim Ali Khan,the rider of MISS FLURRY  reported that his mount was inclined to drift out severely in the straight. Trainer I S Parmar was informed to take remedial measures in this regard.

Jockey K Narender Kumar the rider of MY SOUL was called in and questioned about his riding who stated that he was instructed to sit close with the field and do his best while entering the straight but his mount did not respond to his urges at no stage of the race. Trainer A Khan who confirmed the instructions was conveyed to ensure that his charge runs with the field.

RACING PRIDE & MY SOUL were impounded for Veterinary examination and the Club’s Veterinary Officer reported no apparent abnormality.
