Permission was granted to Trainer  H A Khan to substitute Jockey Kavraj Singh to ride ASHWA PANAMA  in place of Jockey C S Jodha the declared rider.

Whilst loading SADAJIT reared up inside the gates thereby injuring Jockey R Parvesh who was declared unfit  to ride by the Club’s Medical Officer as such the horse was withdrawn before coming under the Starter’s order. In consequence of the gelding being withdrawn before coming under Starter’s order no deduction on win bets and a deduction of 30% on Place bets was effected.

Jockey Dhanu S Deora the rider of PRINCESS LAURELS was called in and asked about the instructions who stated that he was instructed to sit 2^nd/3rd and ride his best in the straight. He further stated that in spite of his best efforts the horse  was not responding to his urges was noted for future running. Trainer Magan Singh who confirmed the instructions was advised to ensure that his charge runs with the field in future.

PRINCES LAURELS and VEENA’S STAR were impounded for veterinary examination and the Club’s Veterinary Officer reported no apparent abnormality.

Urine sample was taken for analysis from the winner ICE ON THE MOON in the presence of Trainer  Rajinder and sent for Analytical test.
