Racing Incidents

The Club’s Veterinary Officer reported that FLASH FORWARD was lame on right fore at the paddock. Trainer I  S Parmar was informed not to accept with his charge until passed fit.

MISS ILONA was fractious inside the gates, the horse was examined and the Club’s Veterinary Officer reported that MISS ILONA was lame on left hind at the gates. Trainer Deepak Klara was informed not to accept with his charge until passed fit by the Club’s  Veterinary Officer.

ROYALRUNER & MISS ILONA were withdrawn before coming under Starter’s orders as  jockey Gurpreet Singh & Irfan Ali were injured. In consequence of FLASH FORWARD.ROYALRUNER & MISS ILONA were withdrawn before coming under Starter’s order no deduction on win or place bets was effected.

Jockey Dhanu Singh Deora was called in and questioned about his riding on GOLDEN who stated he was instructed to sit 2nd /3rd and ride his best in the straight, he further stated that he tried his best to follow the instructions but his horse did not respond to his urges in the final stages of the race. Trainer Magan Singh confirmed the instructions and stated that his charge was running after a very long lay- off and considering the first run of the season his explanation was noted for furture running. GOLDEN was impounded for veterinary check and certified sound.
