The Club’s Veterinary Officer reported that MISS EDVINA was found to be lame on left fore while being paraded in the paddock. Trainer Deepak Kalra was informed not to accept with his charge until passed fit by the Club’s Veterinary Officer. In consequence of MISS EDVINA being withdrawn before coming under Starter’s order no deduction on win or place bets was effected.

Jockey J Vijay Kumar the rider of ASHWA SITARA reported that his mount  suddenly veered out soon after the jump out which resulted in loosing the  reins which he regained later. Trainer H A Khan was called in and questioned who stated that this was the first time his charge behaved in this manner, as such was asked to give sufficient gate practice and pass in a mock race before accepting in a race.

Jockey Mohanlal the rider of HO CHI was fined Rs.2000/- for not following the trainers instructions to sit 3^rd/4^th and not making any efforts to improve his position. The gelding was impounded for veterinary examination and the Club’s Veterinary Officer reported no apparent abnormality.
