Racing Incidents

Trainer Mohsin Khan and Jockey Narain Singh were called in and questioned about the running and riding of AMAZING MASTER. Not being satisfied with their explanations they were directed to appear before the Stewards for the unsatisfactory running and riding.

The Stewards held an enquiry after the last race and interviewed Trainer Mohsin Khan and Jockey Narain Singh and was shown the replay of the race.

After hearing their statements, considering the recommendation of the Stipendiary Steward and their own observation based on the replay of the  race and after due deliberations  they decided  to suspend  Jockey Narain Singh  from riding in races from 18th   April 2014  till the end of the Delhi Meeting 2013-14 for the unsatisfactory riding on his mount AMAZING MASTER. Further he was conveyed if he did not mend his ways the Stewards will not recommend the renewal of his licence for the forthcoming season. He was permitted to ride work during the period of his suspension and was advised of his right of appeal.            

AMAZING MASTER was impounded for veterinary examination and the Club’s Veterinary Officer reported that there was no apparent abnormality.
