It was observed that just before passing the winning post Jockey S Amjad Khan the rider of MISS BOLD who was whipping his mount on the right shifted out and bumped RULING CLASS (Sameer Khan), thereby getting himself unbalanced consequently getting dislodged. The Jockey was removed to the clinic.

Jockey Irfan Ali the rider of MASTER RAFAEL was severely warned for shifting in soon after the jump out thereby causing a slight check to GREEN SEALS (R Vaibhav). He was informed that a lenient view was taken as he had made efforts to control it.

Jockey Irfan Ali the rider of MASTER RAFAEL was reported to the Stewards for the excessive use of the whip on his mount during the race. (3^rd offence during the meeting.

The Stewards held an enquiry after the last race  and interviewed  Jockey Irfan Ali.

After hearing his statements, considering the recommendation of the   Stipendiary  Steward  and relying upon their own observations based on the replay of the Race the Stewards after deliberations decided that should Jockey’s license be granted  to Jockey Irfan Ali  for the  Season 2014-2015, the same shall stand suspended for a period of two race days for the excessive use of the whip on his mount MASTER RAFAEL during the race for  the violation of Racing calendar notification under the heading “USE OF WHIPS” in the above race (3^rd offence during the meeting). He was further informed that the date of suspension will be notified at a later date. He was advised of his right of appeal and permitted to ride work.

MASTER RAFAEL  was  impounded for veterinary examination and the Club’s Veterinary Officer reported there was no apparent abnormality.
