VINNIE (Pradeep Kumar) was slow off loosing sufficient grounds, Trainer A Saulez was advised to show his charge one gate practice.

Trainer Zulfiqar Khan and Jockey Shadab Khan were called in and questioned about the running and riding of YALAMLAM. Not being satisfied with  explanation tendered by  Jockey Shadab Khan he was fined Rs.5000/- for
failing to demonstrate a greater level of vigor during the race and he was further informed  repetition would entail him being reported to the Stewards for severe disciplinary action . Trainer Zulfiqar Khan was cautioned for future running of his charges.

YALAMLAM was impounded for veterinary examination and the Club”s veterinary officer reported no apparent abnormality.

The Stipendiary Steward reported Trainer Ajay Sharma and Jockey K Sunny Kumar to the Stewards for the running and riding of GUCCI WATER. The Stewards interviewed Trainer and Jockey concerned.

After hearing their statements, considering the opinion expressed by the  Stipendiary Stewards and relying upon their own observation based on the replay of the race the Stewards were not being satisfied with the explanations tendered by  the Jockey and trainer and after due deliberations they decided to :-

i) Suspend the Jockey’s Licence granted to Jockey K Sunny  Kumar from riding in races from 26th  October 2014 to 18th November 2014 (Both days inclusive) for unsatisfactory riding under Rule No.161 (ii) of RWITC Rules of racing on his  mount GUCCI WATER. He was permitted to ride work during the period of his suspension and was advised  of his right of  appeal.            

ii) Trainer Ajay Sharma was severely warned for inconsistent explanations and misleading evidence during the preliminary enquiry by the Stipendiary Stewards and the Stewards.
 
GUCCI WATER was impounded for veterinary examination and the Club”s veterinary officer reported no apparent abnormality.

Urine sample was taken for analysis from the winner b f UNIVERSAL JOY in the presence of Trainer A Khan and sent for Analytical test.
