As Jockey Kavraj Singh was unable to reach due to delay in flight, hence permission was granted to Trainer I S Parmar to substitute Jockey Rajinder Saini  to ride MASTER STROKE in place of Jockey Kavraj Singh  the declared rider.

Jockey Shadab Khan the rider of JHILMIL was called in and questioned about his riding. He stated that he was instructed to sit 3^rd/4^th/5^th and on entering the straight do his best. After jump out he found the pace of the race very fast and found himself gallopping at the rearward position with the Leader having an easy run in the front,  therefore he decided to improve from the 1000 mts and an entering the straight, he made all efforts to improve his position, his explanations were noted for future reference.
