Trainer Richpal Singh and Jockey Sameer Khan were called in and questioned regarding the running and riding of RIOS QUEEN. Trainer stated that he had instructed the jockey to position 4^th /5^th and do his best on entering the straight and was satisfied with the riding of  jockey. Jockey coroborating the trainers instructions stated that he had followed the trainers instructions and also opined that he was riding as instructed, but as the pace of the race had gained momentum, he had considered options to either push forward or restrain behind the field, but was of the opinion that both options would have been detrimental to his mount as it was racing comfortably. He further stated that RIOS QUEEN had finished off the race well. However Jockey Sameer Khan was advised to ride in a manner so as not to arouse query and both the  trainer and the jockey were given the benefit of doubt at this instance.
