Trainer  Sangeet Charan was called in and questioned about the running and riding of MISS CASTLE who stated that  he had instructed the jockey to take a good jump and sit 2^nd  /3^rd and do his best on entering the straight. He opined that the Jockey had not followed the instructions .When questioned regarding his riding Jockey M Chettri stated  that he was instructed to sit 2^nd/3^rd and do his best  and  when the start was effected his mount reared up in the gates as such he could not follow the trainers instructions. Not being satisfied with his explanation he was fined Rs.3000/- for failing to follow  the trainers instructions. MISS CASTLE was impounded for post race veterinary examination and the Club’s Veterinary Officer reported no apparent abnormality.

Jockey Saddam Hussain the rider of NIZBATI PRINCE was severely reprimanded for  forcing his passage approaching the 700 mts between the rails and LIONHEARTED LADY (C S Jodha) on his outside  when there was insufficient passage whereby he had to check his mount and thereafter negotiating the bend he permitted his mount to shift out and travel wide.
