Jockey Amandeep Singh the rider of FAST AND FURIOUS was fined Rs.1000/- for the excessive use of whip during the race ( 1^st offence during the meeting) Further, he was severely reprimanded for the improper use of the whip whereby he kept on persisting the whip without affording the gelding an opportunity to respond.

Jockey Dhanu Singh Deora the rider of AHOY reported that negotiating 800 mts his mount started drifting out and he had difficulty in keeping it on an even course . Trainer Magan Singh was advised to take remedial measures before accepting it in a race.

Trainer Rajinder was called in and questioned rgarding the running of ART MASTER. Trainer stated that :-

1. The horse came under his charge last year from RWITC with a  severe laminitis and was thereafter systematically treated by the Club’s Veterinary Officer.
2. He had systematically prepared with giving sufficient gate practice and regular work and accepted to race in the above race.
3. He instructed the jockey to ride out with hands and heels and not put pressure on it as it is running for the first time in its career.

On being questioned Jockey Jai Parkash stated that he had ridden according to trainers instructions and during the race his mount was regularly changing legs. A post race veterinary examination of the gelding failed to detect any abnormalities. Their explanation were noted for future reference.

Urine sample was taken for analysis from the winner AHOY in the presence of Trainer Magan Singh and sent for Analytical test.
