Racing Incidents

JockeyDhanu Singh Deora the rider of CAUGHT THE EYE reported that his mount was lugging in in the final stages of the race  and shifted in thereby inconveniencing  MISS SHARAPOVA (Mohd Habeeb) on his inside. The Club’s Veterinary Officer reported post race that CAUGHT THE EYE had a cut injury-skin deep left limb below knee.

Jockey Suresh Kumar the rider of NIZBATI QUEEN was questioned regarding his riding in the final stages of the race and more so use of whip. He stated that the trainer had specifically instructed him not to make use of the whip at all. Not being satisfied with his explanation an enquiry has been opened in the running and riding of NIZABATI QUEEN  with respect to the instructions of Trainer S M Abbas to the jockey not to use the whip.

Urine sample was taken for analysis from the winner CHEPETZUHA in the presence of Trainer Mohsin Khan and sent for Analytical test.
