Jockey Shadab Khan the rider of GULMARG was fined Rs.3000/- for the excessive use of whip on his mount during the race. (2^ND offence during the meeting)

Trainer Richpal Singh and Jockey Sandeep Rajput were called in and questioned regarding the running and riding of RIOS QUEEN. Trainer stated that:-

1. His charge was accepted in the above race after a gap of 43 days as it was treated for liver disorder by the  Club’s Veterinary Officer.
2. He had instructed the jockey to ride in a forward position and do his best on entering the straight.
3. He himself was quite surprised to know that his charge was strongly fancied as per the betting propositions.
4. He also observed that soon after jumping out of the Starting  gates  his charge was interfered.
5. Under the circumstance he is  quite satisfied with the riding of Jockey Sandeep Rajput in accordance with his instructions.

On corroborating the trainers statements jockey Sandeep Rajput stated that soon after jump out his mount was interfered and thereafter he rode with hands and heels and his mount ran a disappointing race. Their explanations were noted for future reference.

Jockey R Parvesh the rider of ASHWA HARBIR  was questioned regarding his riding, who stated that he was instructed to go to the front and do his best on entering the straight,  he stated the pace of the race was quite fast in the initial stages of the race and he gave two backhanders to improve position whereby his mount did  not respond. Thereafter in the last 400 mts  when he tried to improve his position on the  rails  GULMARG (Shadab Khan) which was running erratic  ahead of him shifted in and out thereby he allowed his mount to shift  out and thereafter  he rode out his mount with hands and heels and also used whip.

Trainer Bharat T Singh was and questioned regarding the inconsistent pattern of running and improved performance of his charge FRIENDS AGAIN as compared to its last run in Race No.283 The Sikanderabad Plate-Div.II, Rated 1-26, Distance 1200 Mts  on 17.4.15 wherein it ran unplaced.  Trainer stated that:-

1. In its earlier  two outing in race no.170 and 234 it was slowly away loosing sufficient grounds.

2. On the advise of the rider he had used Tongue Strap.

Not being satisfied with his explanation he was fined Rs.10000/- for the improved performance of his charge in a short span of time.

The Club’s Veterinary Officer reported NASSU returned lame on left fore during the race, Trainer K Ali Khan was advised a veterinary certificate of fitness would be required prior to presenting for future trial or race.
