MOUNTAIN GUNNER (Danish Ali Khan) was very fractious in the parade ring reared up dislodging the rider, after reaching the starting gate Jockey Danish Ali Khan complained of severe pain who was examined by the Club’s Medical Officer and he was certified medically unfit to ride, hence it was withdrawn before coming under Starter’s orders. In consequence of MOUNTAIN GUNNER being withdrawn before coming under Starter’s orders a deduction of 20% on win and 50% on place bets was effected.

Jockey Suresh Kumar the rider of ASHWA SANWRI reported that as the start was effected his mount jumped out awkwardly outwards, thereafter it was very keen and commenced to pull hard and he made all efforts to restrain the mare to follow the trainers instructions to sit 3^rd/4^th and to ride out in the home straight. Trainer Irfan Ali when questioned stated that he had instructed the  jockey to position 3^rd/4^th and do his best on entering the straight.  Under the circumstances of the race he was quite content with the riding of Jockey Suresh Kumar. While noting their explanations, trainer was informed to take remedial measures before accepting with his charge again in a race.

Trainer K Ali Khan was cautioned for entertaining unauthorised person in the parade ring.

Urine sample was taken for analysis from the winner MONEY PLANT in the presence of Trainer Mallikarjun and sent for Analytical test.
