As Jockey A Ashhad Asbar reported that due to transportation issue he could not reach Delhi to ride, hence permission was granted to Trainer S Nawab to substitute Jockey K Narender Kumar to ride MASTER STROKE in place of Jockey A Ashhad Asbar the declared rider.

MISTER BEST (Gurpreet Singh) was observed to shift out after jumping out of the starting gates.

Jockey Rajinder Saini the rider of FLORI DI CAMA was fined Rs.1000/- for the excessive use of the whip on his mount during the race (1^st offence during the meeting)

Trainer S Nawab and Jockey M Chettri were called in and questioned regarding the running and riding of MASTER STROKE. He stated that he had instructed the jockey to position 3^rd/4^th and do his best on entering the straight and also opined that between 800-700 mts the jockey had dropped his mount and ran 2^nd last, negotiating the bend the Jockey permitted his mount to shift out thereafter rode out in a feeble manner. Jockey M Chettri coroborating the Trainers statement stated that during the last 100 mts of the race his mount was not galloping fluently. Not being satisfied with the jockeys explanation he was fined Rs.5000/- for riding an indifferent race and cautioned him for making misleading statements. Further he was informed that repetition of similar manner of riding would entail reported to the Stewards for severe disciplinary action. The horse was impounded for veterinary examination and the Club’s Veterinary officer reported no apparent abnormality.

Urine sample was taken for analysis from the winner FLORI DI CAMA in the presence of Trainer Raj Kumar Saini and sent for Analytical test.
