UNIVERSAL JOY ( S A Shah) was very fractious inside the starting gates in the process it got struck inside the gates, the horse was removed and examined by the Club’s Veterinary Officer who certified it stiff back as such it was withdrawn before coming under Starter’s orders.  Trainer A Khan was advised a veterinary certifcate of fitness would be required prior to presenting for future trial or race.

In consequence of UNIVERSAL JOY being withdrawn before coming under Starter’s orders deduction on 10% on win and  50% on place bets was effected.

NATORIOUS (Nazim) was slowly away loosing some grounds at the start. In view of its behavior Trainer Sartaj Singh was informed to give sufficient gate practice before accepting in a race.

App Jockey R Rakesh the rider of SUN FLAG reported that his mount leaped into the air soon after jumping out of the gates whereby he was momentarily unbalanced.

Jockey K Narender Kumar the rider of EXCEPTIONAL reported that while jumping out of the starting gates his mount stumbled.

Trainer H A Khan  was questioned regarding the inconsistent pattern of running of his charge ASHWA GARIMA as compared to its last run in Race No.40 on 6^th October 2015. Trainer H A Khan stated that :-

1. In its last run he had instructed  Jockey  K Narender Kumar to take a good  jump and lead the field and do his best on entering the straight.

2. Jockey K Narender Kumar stated that soon after jumping out of thestarting gate he suffered an interference  and could not get a clear run which was duly recorded in the race day report of that day.

3. Even today also he instructed Jockey Harkesh Kumar to take a good jump and  do his best on entering the straight.

However, noting down his explanations he was informed that he must come and report to the Stipendiary Steward that if the jockey had ridden contrary  to his instructions or any incidents which might have the bearing of running of his charges.

Under orders from the Stewards urine sample was taken from failed favourite

EXCEPTIONAL in the presence of Trainer Magan Singh.

Urine sample was taken for analysis from the winner ASHWA GARIMA in the presence of Trainer H A Khan and sent for Analytical test.

An enquiry has been opened into the dismal performance of  EXCEPTIONAL Trained by Trainer Magan Singh  and ridden by Jockey K Narender Kumar.
