Racing Incidents

Trainer Magan Singh and Jockey Dashrath Singh were called in and questioned regarding the running and riding of BOLD OPINION. Trainer Magan Singh stated that :-

  1. He had instructed the jockey to take a lead or sit 2nd and do his best on entering the straight.
  2. He stated that his charge  is still a maiden and an ordinary horse and nothing credible to its performance.
  3. His charge is yet to mature in terms of racing on turf track.
  4. Its confirmation is hallow based.
  5. He was quite shocked and surprised to see his charge opening as a favourite .

Jockey Dashrath Singh confirming the instruction stated that:-

  1. That the gelding was a relatively nervous and raced greenly.
  2. Into the home straight when he put pressure his mount started running erratic.
  3. When he made use of his whip, his mount started to resent.
  4. Following the running of this race, he had recommended to the trainer that BOLD OPINION race in Blinkers as it may help the gelding run concentrate better in races.

Their explanations were noted.

Trainer Deepak Kalra was  called in and questioned regarding the dismal perfomance of MEISTER ridden  by Jockey A Ashhad Asbar as compared to its last run in Race No.76 when ridden by the same rider was placed second. Trainer stated that:-

  1. His charge is an ordinary bred horse and nothing credible to its performance.
  1. He was also quite surprised with its poor performance and had no tangible reasons and justifications for its performance.

However while noting his explanations Trainer Deepak Kalra was informed to give sufficient time to his charge beofre accepting in a race.

Jockey A Ashhad Asbar the rider of MEISTER was reprimanded for easing out his mount in the final stages of the race.

Jockey R Yousaf the rider of SADAJIT was severely reprimanded for allowing his mount to drift out negotiating the bend and travelling on the outer portion of the race track.

Urine sample was taken for analysis from the winner AMAZING BIG DEAL in the presence of Trainer Mohsin Khan and was sent for Analytical test.
