ROYAL REGINA (Gurpreet Singh) was fractious refused to be loaded and it kicked the starting gates whereby it sustained a fracture on its right hind leg. Under the circustance the horse was withdrawn before coming under Starter’s orders.The Club’s Veterinary officer reported that as ROYAL REGINA had sustained a fracture on left hind hence it was euthanized on humanitarian grounds. In view of ROYAL REGINA being withdrawn before coming under Starter’s order no deduction on win or place bets was effected.

Jockey Mohanlal the rider of BACARDI BLAST was severely reprimanded for not riding vigrously in the final stages of the race.

Trainer Mohsin Khan was questioned regarding the dismal performance of CHEPETZUHA as compared to its last run in Race No.39 on 6th October 2015 where it was placed second.  Trainer stated that in the last outing his charge had bled and was under regular treatment. He further stated that he accepted the horse in this race after taking a fitness certificate from the Club’s Veterinary Officer and he had no tangible explanations to offer for its dismal performance.

The Club’s Veterinary Officer reported after the 5th race that CHEPETZUHA bled. In terms of RWITC Racing calendar notification the horse has been banned from racing for a stipulated period of 8 weeks (2nd time bleeder).Trainer Mohsin Khan was advised a veterinary certificate of fitness would be required prior to presenting for future trial or race.

Trainer I S Parmar was questioned regarding the dismal performance of MORNING DEVOTION as compared to its last run in Race No.86 on 3rd November 2015 where it was placed second. Trainer stated that:-

i)    He had taken over the horse from Trainer  A Khan just 11 days before.
ii)    This is the first run of this horse under his charge.
iii)    When the horse ran on 3rd November 2015 in Race No.86, it ran a     decent second over a distance of 1100 mts in Class IV.
iv)    Since his horse was  drawn 11 he had instructed the jockey to position 3rd/4th, maintain the outside position and avoid shifting  in not to interfere with the horses on inside and do his best on entering the straight.
v)    He further stated that after the race, the  jockey informed that  he had followed the instructions, since he found the pace of the race  quite fast, hence his charge could not pace with the leaders. His explanation was noted for future reference.
App Jockey Md Asif  Khan the rider of  FOUR BY FOUR reported that  as the start was effected the handler allotted had not released the horse as such his mount jumped out awkawardly thereby loosing some grounds. The loading order of the start was scrutinized and evidence was taken from the starter thereafter it was informed to the jockey that the horse  after being duly loaded in the starting gate was fractious and the horse had turned its head to the left inspite of the handler making efforts to hold it and the jockey was advised to make all efforts to straighten his horse at the start so as to take a level start.

Urine sample was taken for analysis from the winner MOUNTAIN GUNNER in the presence of Trainer K Ali Khan and was sent for Analytical test.
