Permission was granted to Trainer K Ali Khan to withdraw SWEET AS HONEY.

BLACK MAGIC ( M B Qureshi) was examined at the starting gates and the Club’s Veterinary Officer reported that it was lame on left hind as such it was withdrawn before coming under Starter’s orders. Trainer Magan Singh was advised a veterinary certificate of fitness would be required prior to presenting for future trial or race.

In consequence of BLACK MAGIC being declared a non starter a  deduction of 20% on win and 50% on place bets was effected.

Trainer Zulfiqar Khan and App Jockey Rajesh Kumar  Patel were called in and questioned regarding the running and riding of MUMTAZ BEGUM. Trainer stated that he had instructed the jockey to position 2^nd/3^rd and do his best  on entering the straight. He was quite surprised with the way jockey had ridden his charge in the race in that he allowed his horse to gallop at a pace which is too fast and made no attempt to restrain it to follow the instructions. Jockey confirming the instructions stated that after jumping out of the starting gates, he could not hold his mount as it commenced to pull hard during the early stages of the race and set a faster pace than anticipated. However, while noting their explanations jockey Rajesh Kumar Patel was informed that he must make an attempt to follow the instructions given by the trainer and he was reprimanded for riding an in competent race.

App Jockey Md Habeeb the rider of ZAROON reported that he could not get a clear run due to crowding of the field soon after jumping out of the starting gates.

Urine sample was taken for analysis from the winner WHIFF OF GOLD  in the presence of Trainer Deepak Kalra and was sent for analytical test.
