Jockey Chand Mohd the rider of DAZZLING WAVE reported that his mount slightly reared up as the start was effected thereby loosing grounds.

Jockey S A Shah the rider of SHANTIROOP reported that soon after jumping of the starting gates he was inconvenienced by INTO MISCHIEF (R Yousaf) on his inside.

Trainer I S Parmar and Jockey R Parvesh were called in and questioned especially with regards to the riding of Jockey R Parvesh ( MISS CINDRELLA) in the last final stages of the race. The trainer stated that:-

i)    His horse has  a history of suffering from breaking of blood vessel when applied pressure.
ii)    It also resents the use of whip and drops back immediately when used.
    Hence he   advised the jockey to ride with hands and heels in the final stages of   the race.

Jockey R Parvesh corroborating trainers instructions stated that even in the last run i.e. Race No.166 THE B KHANNA MEMORIAL CUP.  A HANDICAP FOR INDIAN HORSES RATED 40-66 on 12th January 2016 when he made use of whip his mount resented the whip and dropped back hence in the above race he rode with hands and heels only in the final stages of the race.

Their explanations were noted for future reference.

Urine sample was taken from the winner BRAMHAPUTRI in the presence of  Trainer Rajinder and was sent for analytical test.
