Jockey Narain Singh the rider of MY GLORIA reported that soon after jumping out of the starting gates he momentarily lost his reins which he gathered after few strides.

Jockey Narain Singh the rider of MY GLORIA was fined Rs,3000/- for not  sufficiently preserving with his mount  from the 400 mts of the race.  

Jockey Suresh Kumar the rider of NIZBATI QUEEN reported that his mount jumped awkwardly outwards thereby his left stirrup came off and after passing few strides he regained it.

Trainer S Nawab and App.Jockey S Lalit were reported to the Stewards for the running and riding of MISS STAR.  The Stewards held an enquiry after the last race and interviewed trainer S Nawab and App.Jockey S Lalit. After hearing their statements, considering the opinion expressed by the Stipendiary Steward and after due deliberations they decided to:-

1)    Caution trainer S Nawab for the unsatisfactory running of his charge MISS STAR in the above race.

2)    a) Suspend the jockey’s licence granted to S Lalit from riding in races from 12th March 2016 to 4th April 2016 (both days inclusive) for unsatisfactory riding on his mount MISS STAR in the above race thereby contravening Rule No.161(ii) of RWITC Rules of Racing.

The particulars of the charges are:-
i)    He unnecessarily restrained his mount in the early and middle stages, thereby losing his position.
ii)    Approaching the turn and into the home straight he failed to make sufficient effort to improve his position when it was reasonable and permissible to do so.
iii)    From the 300 mts, he kept repeatedly bumping on his saddle for no apparent reason.
iv)    In the final stages, he sat up and failed to ride out his mount vigorously  which he is capable of.
b) The Stewards further severely warned him and informed that since he is a promising and upcoming apprentice jockey, they had taken a lenient view.

He was permitted to ride work during the period of his suspension. Advised of his right to appeal.

Trainer K P Singh and Jockey K Narender Kumar were reported to the Stewards for the running and riding of SHIMAH. The Stewards held an enquiry after the last race and interviewed trainer K P Singh and Jockey K Narender Kumar. After hearing their statements, considering the opinion expressed by the Stipendiary Steward and after due deliberations they decided to:-

1)    Note the explanation tendered by trainer K P Singh.
2)    Suspend the jockey’s licence granted to K Narender Kumar from riding in races from 12th March 2016 to 23rd March 2016 (both days inclusive) for his unsatisfactory riding on his mount SHIMAH in the above race thereby contravening Rule No.161(ii) of RWITC Rules of Racing.

The particulars of the charges are:-

i)    He unnecessarily restrained his mount soon after jumping out till about the 600 mts for no apparent reason.
ii)    From the 200mts of the race he failed to make sufficient efforts to improve his position when it was reasonable and permissible to do so.

He was permitted to ride work during the period of his suspension. Advised of his right to appeal.

Urine sample was taken from the winner PASSION FLOWER  in the presence of  Trainer Deepak Kalra   and was sent for analytical test.
