Trainer K P Singh and Jockey Sameer Khan were called in questioned regarding the running and riding of GLENEAGLES. Trainer K P Singh stated that:-
i)    He had instructed the jockey to position 5th/6th and do his best on entering the straight.
ii)    The  horse was observed to be “hanging in “during the mock race, hence on the advise of the jockeys he had used equipments  BLK/TS and HB to rectify its behavior.
iii)     He was quite surprised of the horse opened a firm favourite in its debut run and under circumstance of the race he was quite satisfied with the jockey’s handling of his charge.

On questioning Jockey Sameer Khan stated that :-

i)    He was instructed to position 5th/6th and do his best on entering the straight.
ii)    Approaching 700mts ROYAL COUNTRY STAR (M Mani) which was running ahead of him was running erratic, hence he had to check his mount.
iii)    Thereafter from the 400 mts he rode out his mount.

While their explanations were noted for future reference, Jockey Sameer Khan was given the benefit of doubt at this instance.

Jockey S A Shah the rider of SMOKEY EYES reported that the handler allotted to him at the Starting gate released the Blind Fold late thereby his mount missed the jump.

Urine sample was taken from the winner MASTER BECKET in the presence of  Trainer S Nawab  and was sent for analytical test.
