Permission was granted to Trainer K P Singh to withdraw RIOS GIRL on veterinary grounds as it was lame on right fore limb. He was advised a veterinary certificate of fitness would be required prior to presenting for future trial or race.

Jockey Naresh Kumar reported the saddle used on his mount MISTER SEXY slipped on the right soon after jumping out of the starting gates and thereafter he could not offer sufficient assistance to his mount. The saddle was examined immediately after the race and found to have shifted onto the right side. Trainer Rajinder was fined Rs.5000/- for the faulty saddling of his charge. (2nd offence during the meeting.)

Jockey R Yousaf the rider of ROSSETTE QUEEN was fined Rs.5000/- for not sufficiently persevering his mount from the 400 mts of the race.

Jockey S Amjad Khan the rider of MASTER DESIRE reported that his mount was repeatedly changing its legs during the race and in the last 200 mts his mount was lugging in. Trainer S Nawab was informed to take remedial measures before accepting in a race.

Trainer Deepak Kalra was called in and questioned regarding the improved performance of   MR SINGH as compared to its last run in Race No.143  THE CHRISTMAS CUP.DIV.I.A HANDICAP FOR INDIAN HORSES RATED 20-46 (ABT) 1100 MTS on 24th December 2015 where it was unplaced. Trainer stated that:-

1)    In its  last run it was a firm favourite which had  run a very poor race.
2)    After the race it was endoscoped and found to be clear.
3)    The Club’s Veterinary Officer further informed him that on a x-ray examination it was found to be having chip in its knee, hence it was advised for  an operation.
4)    The Pvt Veterinary Doctor after examination opined that the operation can be conducted during off-season and presently can be treated by way of injection.
5)    He also stated that he was advised the use tongue strap and Cross Nose Band for its better performance.

Jockey Sameer Khan the rider of MR SINGH was fined Rs.2000/- for making celebratory gesture.

Trainer Deepak Kalra was fined Rs.5000/- for permitting unauthorised person to lead in his charge MR SINGH the winner of the above race.

Urine sample was taken from the winner MR SINGH in the presence of  Trainer Deepak Kalra and was sent for analytical test.
