Permission was granted to Trainer K P Singh to withdraw DAZZLING DIAMOND on veterinary grounds as it was colic. He was advised a veterinary certificate of fitness would be required prior to presenting for future trial or race.

MISS JULIA (Ramandeep Singh Bal) was examined at the starting gates by the Club’s Veterinary Officer who reported that it was lame on left fore as such it was withdrawn before coming under Starters orders. Trainer H A Khan was advised a veterinary certificate of fitness would be required prior to presenting for future trial or race. In consequence of MISS JULIA being withdrawn before coming under Starter’s order a deduction of 10% on win and 30% on place bets was affected.

Jockey Rajinder Saini the rider of GENTLEWAVE was fined Rs.2000/- for permitting his mount to shift in approaching the 900 mts thereby  causing interference to CHERAMI (Aqeed Waheed) which passed onto MISS FLURRY (Dashrath Singh) on his inside.

App.Jockey Md Asif Khan the rider of FOUR BY FOUR reported that as the start was effected his mount jumped awkwardly outwards from the starting gate.

Jockey Dashrath Singh the rider of MISS FLURRY reported that approaching 100 mts his mount slipped from the hind momentarily loosing its balance.

Trainer Irfan Ali was questioned regarding the running of MISS FLURRY. He stated that:-

i)    The horse was suffering from severe tendons wherein in the previous season it  was twice reported for lameness.
ii)    Hence he had given sufficient time to recover after getting it treated by the Club’s Veterinary Officer.
iii)    He had given sufficient work to this horse in order to bring to its fitness after that only he had accepted for the above race.
iv)    His explanation was noted.

The horse was impounded for veterinary examination and the  Club’s Veterinary Officer reported that MISS FLURRY returned lame on right hind during the race. Trainer Irfan Ali was advised a veterinary certificate of fitness would be required prior to presenting for future trial or race.

Urine sample was taken from the winner GENTLEWAVE in the presence of  Trainer  Rajinder   and was sent for analytical test.
