As Jockey S Amjad Khan  was certified medically unfit to ride, hence permission was granted to Trainer S Nawab to substitute Jockey Ramandeep Singh Bal to ride MISS BLITZ in place of Jockey S Amjad Khan the declared rider.

NATORIOUS (S Lalit) planted and did not take any practical part in the race , in view of its behavior trainer Mallikarjun was advised to not to accept with his charge until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Steward in one mock race on a race day on the race track.

BRILLANT RAJPUT ( Akash Rajput) planted thereby loosing sufficient grounds at the start, in view of its behavior trainer Bharat T Singh was advised to not to accept with his charge until its behaviour improved to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Steward in one mock race on a race day on the race track.

Trainer H Ali Khan and Jockey Mohnalal were questioned regarding the running and riding of AL QOSER. Trainer stated that he instructed the jockey to position 3rd/4th and do his best on entering the straight. He was quite satisfied with the riding of Jockey Mohanlal. On corroborating the trainers instructions the jockey stated that he had followed the instructions and done his best. Not being satisfied with their explanations they were directed to appear before the Stewards.

The Stewards held an enquiry after the last race and interviewed Trainer H Ali Khan and Jockey Mohanlal. After hearing their statements, considering the opinion expressed by the Stipendiary Steward and after due deliberations they decided to:-

a)  Fine Trainer H Ali Khan a sum of Rs.10000/- for the unsatisfactory running of his charge AL QOSER.

b) Suspend the jockey’s licence granted to Mohanlal from riding in races from 21st November 2016 to 6th December 2016 (both days inclusive) for his unsatisfactory riding of his mount AL QOSER thereby contravening Rule No.161(ii) of RWITC Rules of Racing.

He was permitted to ride work during the period of his suspension.

The Trainer and the Jockey were advised of their right of appeal.

Urine sample was taken for analysis from the winner BEE PRINCESS  in the presence of Trainer  Rajinder  and sent for Analytical test.

GENERAL

A section of the public gathered around the Stewards room and also demonstrated on the race track in relation to the running of  today’s first race due to which the race was delayed and due to bad light the Stewards  cancelled the remaining 4th,5th & 6th Races.
