ROOPMANTRA (Md Habeeb) was examined at the Starting gate and certified lame on left hind as such it was withdrawn before coming under Starter’s orders. Trainer Zulfiqar Khan was advised a veterinary certificate of fitness would be required prior to presenting for future trial or race.

It was observed that Jockey Bhiv Singh the rider of ACRO POLIS lost his balance soon after jumping out of the starting gates whereby horse drifted in violently and passing some distance the rider  was dislodged from his mount.

Jockey S Amjad Khan the rider of MISS UNIVERSE reported that  approaching 900 mts his mount had clipped the heels of the front running horse ACRO POLIS which was running rider-less and stumbled momentarily losing his balance.

Jockey T S Jodha the rider of SHIVALIK CHARM reported that he could not get a clear run in the final stages of the race as the rider-less horse (ACRO POLIS) running erratic.

At the behest of the Stipendiary Steward a Stewards enquiry was ordered into late opening of gate of GLENEAGLES (Sameer Khan) as the start was effected. The Stewards held an enquiry immediately after the race and interviewed the Jockey and Starter concerned and after deliberations, considering the opinion expressed by the Stipendiary Steward and based on the observation of the race the Stewards noted that the gate No 13 opened late as such GLENEAGLES was denied of a fair start and declared it as a non-starter and the revised order of placing as under:-

                                 MISS UNIVERSE            FOURTH
In consequence of GLENEAGLES being declared non-starter a deduction of 10% on win and 20% on place bets was effected.

The Club’s Veterinary Officer reported that GOLDEN CHILLY had suffered exhaustion and unable to breathe due to internal bleeding after the race. Trainer H A Khan was advised a veterinary certificate of fitness would be required prior to presenting for future trial or race.

Urine sample was taken for analysis from the winner ASHWA ABHIRAJ in the presence of Trainer H A Khan and sent for analytical test.
