At the start, LOVELY GIRL (K Narendra Kr) & SHANE PUNJAB (S Lalit) were fractious inside the stall. Trainers S M Abbas and K Ali Khan have been asked to to give sufficient gate practice to their respective charges and be shown to the satisfaction of the Starter before next accepting to race.

Near 100 metres, IN MY LIFE (S Mosin) shifted out forcing OH SO HOT (Akash Rajput) outwards due to which NEBULOUS (Arman Ali Jafri) went wide for a few strides.
 
Passing 900 metres, LOVELY GIRL (K Narender Kr) shifted in caused interference to ASHWA CHICAGO (Amyn Merchant) and nearing 700 metres, shifted in again and caused interference to ASHWA CHICAGO. Jockey K Narender Kr has been fined Rs.2000/- for failing to exercise proper control over his mount.
 
Jockey Dhanu Singh Deora (LOVELY BOY) was cautioned for keeping an erratic course under the use of whip in the straight.
 
Jockey K Narender Kumar the rider of LOVELY GIRL was fined Rs.5000/- for using his whip in excess of the prescribed limit on his mount. (2nd offence)
 
Jockey Arman Ali Jafri (NEBULOUS) was reported to the Stewards for using his whip in excess of the prescribed limit on his mount (3rd offence).
 
The Stewards having interviewed Jockey Arman Ali Jafri with regard to his 3rd Offence with regard to the use of the whip decided to suspend his Jockey’s License w.e.f. 20th February to 27th February 2018. The Jockey was reminded of his right to Appeal.
 
After the race, IN MY LIFE & COMPREHENSIVE were examined and were found to be sound.
