At the start, DON’T TOUCH (R Rakesh) and OH SO HOT (R Yousaf) were slowly away.

Soon after the start, TERRIFIC (M Chettri) shifted in before the Red Marker and went cross TAKE OVER TARGET (S Amjad Khan) and then shifted in further and tightened ROYAL GREY (C Umesh). Jockey M Chettri has been fined Rs.1,000/-.

After passing 1000 metres, ROYAL GREY (U Umesh) shifted inwards, clipped the heels of TERRIFIC (M Chettri) and stumbled which resulted in TAKE OVER TARGET (S Amjad Khan) being steadied who was following ROYAL GREY.

The saddle on MURTAJIL (Irfan Ali) slipped back during the race, as such, Trainer Bharath T Singh has been fined Rs.2000/-.

An Objection was lodged by Trainer Rajinder and Jockey R Yousaf (OH SO HOT) against the Starter that “the blind fold applied on his mount was taken off late due to which the filly missed the jump and she lost her position and that cost them a certain race.” The Stewards held an enquiry and interviewed the Trainer and the Jockey and having viewed the video recording of the incident, in normal as well as in slow motion, and after deliberations, considering the opinion expressed by the Stipendiary Stewards and based on their observation of the incident, the Stewards decided to overrule the Objection and maintained the order of Placing as declared by the Judge. The Security deposit was refunded.

After the race, ROYAL GREY was found to have sustained a cut injury on left hind leg. Trainer Ajay Sharma has been asked to obtain a veterinary certificate of fitness prior to presenting the gelding for any future trial or race.
