On examination at the Starting Gates, SWEET STAR (M B Qureshi) was found to have sustained injuries on both hind legs, as such, was withdrawn on veterinary grounds before coming under Starter’s orders. Trainer Magan Singh has been asked to obtain a veterinary certificate of fitness prior to presenting his charge for any future trial or race.
As a consequence of SWEET STAR being withdrawn, a deduction of 20% on win and 50% on place bets was affected.
Jockey Jai Parkash (MISTER BEST) has been severely reprimanded for his feeble riding on his mount.
Jockey K Narender Kumar (NICHE DIAMOND) has been cautioned for travelling wide throughout the race.
After the race, TOM RISK was observed to have broken a blood vessel and is not to race for a stipulated period of 4 weeks (1st time). Trainer H Ali Khan has been asked to obtain a veterinary certificate of fitness prior to his charge being presented for any future trial or race.
The veterinary examination of MISTER BEST & HUKANA MATATA did not reveal any apparent abnormality.
