Racing Incidents

At the Gates, the Veterinary officer observed profuse, purulent /blood discharge from nostrils of BLACK ROSE as such withdrawn before coming under starters Orders.

At the Gates, KING AND COUNTRY was found to have sustained a cut injury inside mouth and was withdrawn before coming under starters Orders. In view of KING AND COUNTRY being withdrawn, a deduction of 20% on win and 50% on place bets was affected and for the withdrawal of BLACK ROSE, a deduction of 40% on win & 50% on place bets affected.
At the start, LOVELY GIRL (Praveen Saini) was extremely fractious before being loaded. Trainer Sangeet Charan has been asked to give sufficient Gate practice before next accepting to race. On questioning Jockey TS Jodha (PATIALA PEG) stated that his mount did not respond to his urgings throughout the race. The veterinary examination of PATIALA PEG did not reveal any apparent abnormality.

LOVELY GIRL (Praveen Saini) lugged-in in the concluding stages of the race. Trainer Sangeet Charan has been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting to race. After the race, NEBULOUS was observed to have broken a blood vessel and is not to race for a stipulated period of 4 weeks (1st time). Trainer A Khan has been asked to obtain a veterinary
certificate of fitness prior to his charge being presented for any future trial or race.
