Racing Incidents

At the start, AMAZING JET (Narain Singh) was extremely fractious inside the stall. Trainer Mohsin Khan has been asked to give sufficient gate practice before next accepting to race.

Jockey TS Jodha (BLUE TIGER), when questioned, stated that his instructions were to be in 2nd position and to do his best in the straight. He added that at the jump out, the gelding threw its head and then there was no room for him to position his mount as instructed and near 1000 metres, he brushed up his mount to take position, but his mount was taken out and near 400 metres, he was held up and then he shifted his mount outwards and then had ridden out in the straight. Not being satisfied with his explanation, an enquiry has been initiated into the running and riding of BLUE TIGER.

The veterinary examination of BLUE TIGER did not reveal any apparent abnormality and TOT O WHISKEY was found to have saddle sore but was sound. Trainer Zulfiqar Khan has been asked to obtain a certificate of fitness in respect of TOT O WHISKEY before presenting the mare for any future trial or race.
