ENGLISH BOY (Samer Khan) was fractious inside the stall and hit the front shutters and ran away rider-less. Trainer Richpal Singh has been advised to give sufficient gate practice before next accepting to race.

VEERABHADRA (Dhanu S Deora) ran away rider-less and after being apprehended, with the consent of the Trainer who wished the filly to be raced, was led to the Starting Gates. After the Veterinary examination at the Gates, the filly was allowed to race. 

At the behest of the Stipendiary Stewards, a Stewards’ enquiry was held. After deliberations and keeping in mind the safety of all concerned in view of the public unrest following the running of the race, the Stewards decided to declare VEERABHADRA a non-starter and declared all bets on VEERBHADRA to be null and void with the Bookmakers and the Totelizator.  

As a consequence of ENGLISH BOY being withdrawn, a deduction of 30% on win and 50% on place bets was affected.
JUNGLE WAVE (C Umesh) and FRANCO (Jai Parkash) lugged out briefly in the straight. Trainers Ajay Sharma and Rajinder have been asked to take remedial measures before next accepting to race.

The Club’s Veterinary Officer reported that ENGLISH BOY was found to be lame by its right-fore leg.  Trainer Richpal Singh has been asked to obtain a veterinary certificate of fitness prior to his charge being presented for any future trial or race.
