Racing Incidents

On a request from Trainer Ajay Sharma, VENUM was examined on 11 Feb 2019 and was found to be lame by its both the fore-legs. As such, the mare was certified unfit to race and was withdrawn on veterinary grounds. The Trainer has been asked to obtain a veterinary certificate of fitness prior to presenting his charge for any future trial or race.

On a request from Trainer Bharath T Singh, YOU ARE MINE was examined on 12 Feb 2019 at 10.30 a.m. and was found to be lame by left-fore leg. As such, the mare was certified unfit to race and was withdrawn on veterinary grounds. The Trainer has been asked to obtain a veterinary certificate of fitness prior to presenting his charge for any future trial or race.

Trainer Zulfiqar Khan reported that Jockey T S Jodha had missed his flight and therefore, he would not be able to fulfil his riding engagements for today. Jockey TS Jodha was contacted over the phone who stated that he missed the flight due to traffic while going to the Bengaluru Airport and there was no other flight which he could have boarded. Not being satisfied with the explanation, Jockey TS Jodha has been fined Rs.2,000/-. Soon after the start, HYPERON (Arman Ali Jafri) was inconvenienced and steadied as JET (Akash Rajput) shifted inwards. Jockey Akash Rajput has been cautioned.

Soon after the start, SURIAYA (Danish Ali Khan) was tightened for room and steadied.
