An objection was lodged by Jockey S G Prasad (ASHWA SABIRA), placed second by the Judge against VEERABHADRA (Dhanu S Deora), placed first by the Judge for “coming in sharply before passing the red marker, after which I had to check my mount that broke its strides and again when my mount was full of gallop,VEERABHADRA shifted out and taking my ground at about 200 metres due to which my filly lost its rhythm and I had to shift in for regallop that cost me a certain race”.

Soon after the start, TALENTED (AAshhadAsbar) shifted in and tightened PROMISE OF LOVE (MB Qureshi) who in turn went in on to PRISCA (Ranjeet Singh) causing her to be checked. Jockey AAshhadAsbar has been fined Rs.2,000/.

Trainer Bharat T Singh informed that VEERABHADRA had splayed one of its hind plates while being saddled and it would be time consuming to replate the filly and requested that he be permitted to remove the plate from the other hind leg and would race the filly hind bare. The hind plate was removed from the other hind leg and once she was examined and passed fit by the Veterinary Officer, the filly was permitted to proceed to the starting Gates. The filly was again examined by the Veterinary Officer at the Starting Gates before being loaded.

On a request from Trainer Rajinder, COME ON GIRL was examined on 17 Mar 2019 and was found to be lame by its Right fore leg. As such, the mare was certified unfit to race and was withdrawn on veterinary grounds. The Trainer has been asked to obtain a veterinary certificate of fitness prior to presenting his charge for any future trial or race.
