After the race, MAN MALHARI was observed to have broken a blood vessel and is not to race for a stipulated period of 4 weeks (1st time). Trainer Zulfiqar Khan has been asked to obtain a veterinary certificate of fitness prior to his charge being presented for any future trial or race.

Jockey AAshhadAsbar (MASTER NOVAK) has been fined Rs.3,000/ for using his whip in excess of the prescribed limit on his mount. (1st Offence).

At the start, BRIGHT WATERS (Dhanu S Deora) was slowly away and lost about 2 lengths. It was observed that at the start, the Blindfold of BRIGHT WATERS came off fractionally late. When questioned the Starter informed that the Jockey asked him to keep the blind fold on the filly till the end as the horse has been habitually flipping overin the Gates. There was no objection lodged by either the Owner or the Trainer or the Jockey to the late removal of the blindfolds. Further, BRIGHT WATERS had finished 9th in a field of 12 runners and was not a Placed horse, as such,keeping in mind all the circumstances, no Steward’s Enquiry was held in to the incident.

At the start, GOLDEN GUINEA (R Parvesh) jumped out awkwardly.

BEAUTIFUL SOUL was withdrawn before coming under starter’s order as the filly was extremely fractious before being loaded. Trainer Rajinder has been asked to give sufficient gate practice before next accepting to race.

Passing 800 metres, RIOS PRINCESS (GS Shekhawat) which was racing keen and clipped the heels of the front runner, stumbled and dislodged its rider. In order avoid colliding with the fallen Jockey, Jockey AAshhadAsbar rode his mount, MASTER NOVAK, in check for a few strides.
